Tucson Drosophila Species Stock Center
The Center for Insect Science is home to the Tucson Drosophila Species Stock Center, the major source of diverse species of living Drosophila flies used by scientists around the world. The Center currently stocks 1,500 cultures of 300 Drosophila species. Separate cultures of individual species come from Australia, South America, China, North America and Europe.
